On August 7, 2024, the first phase of the 160,000 tons of anode materials annual production project of Indonesia BTR (80,000 tons per year) was officially put into production, and the commissioning ceremony was successfully held in the Kendal Industrial Park in Semarang, Java Island, Indonesia. Indonesian President Joko Widodo and BTR Chairman He Xueqin attended the commissioning ceremony.

BTR Indonesia is the first overseas construction project of BTR and the first overseas base of China's anode material industry to be officially put into operation. The completion and commissioning of the project fills the gap in the field of anode materials for lithium-ion batteries in Indonesia and even the entire ASEAN region, and effectively promotes the improvement of the entire industrial chain of Indonesia's new energy lithium battery industry. BTR is based in Indonesia and actively promotes its globalization strategy to make positive contributions to building a green, harmonious, and sustainable world.
